Tip for Blender users (BforArtists)

Post by Ikes »

Hi all,

Recently I came across BforArtists, (Blender for artists) and it's a cleaned up version of Blender and also uses icons. I have not played around with it much yet, but it looks a lot better than Blender in my opinion. Maybe there are more people struggling with it, so have a look here: https://www.bforartists.de

Stuck with original. Makes tutorials easier to follow. The only way to learn Blender IMHO is to learn the shortcuts. Not as hard as it seems, but you have to really work at it and practise.

I heard that Blender 2.8 is gonna be a major improvement of the software, it will even come with a real-time render engine: Eevee,
and that's just  WOW!
