Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?
Everything you just said is correct Ikes, yes. Iclone requires a lot more from you up front, but the payoff is the flexibility and total control this gives you when it comes to actually making something. 3DXchange is a pain in the ass, but yes you need it to allow you to import non Reallusion conten...

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?
No Ikes, not yet. My plan is to make the animations and characters in iclone/Character Creator, then export them into S2 as pre-canned motions (as FBX). I can use the S2 world space to build the sets around that (along with the building generator). For interiors I'd use iclone though. It's easy to e...

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?
Nice Ikes. Another option (on another island :) ) that I'm looking at is S2 Engine, a very cheap game engine (on Steam). I wanted to get the procedural building generator and, only after I'd bought it, realized it was a full game engine that you could also make movies with. https://store.steampowere...

Ziggy's Dumpster
Hi everybody. It used to be easy to share Muvizu assets back in the day but, with the demise of Digimania and the continued wonkiness of the Muvizu.com website under Meshmellow, we have to rely on other means. I am going to make a website for all my stuff eventually, but in the meantime here are all...

Re: Missing parts of UV maps
I have a set of the originals along with my own PSD versions (minor tweaks) on my Onedrive account. Think that should cover it for all the original PNGs though.

Wow Ikes, you made that hard for yourself, and it works. Beautifully done, and the site looks great too. I'll put the link your site on Zuchat as well - everybody needs to see this. And have their mind messed with

Re: Costumes pack 2013
The closest version I still have is v1_3 (28-10-13). Would that work, you think?

Re: Parser error
Did you download the installer from Microsoft's site, or somewhere else? Is it for 64 bit or 32 bit? Did Muvizu run before you updated, and why were you forced to update in the first place? Sorry, I know that's a lot of questions, but we need more background info.

Re: Costumes pack 2013
P.S. I have since discovered that even though the 'Import->open' dialog box does not show tga files, if you choose to view 'all files', they can be selected and loaded :). That is such an annoying little oversight, not showing TGA files even though the program supports them. Not sure what's going o...
