Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

I'd given S2 a good look, but I haven't bought it. I'll be curious to see what you do with it, Ziggy. I'm especially intrigued about the prospect of uploading characters and I hope you'll do a tutorial or something when you have it figured out. What kind of built-in character creation does S2 offer?...

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

Thanks for the review, Ikes. That is really disappointing. It continues to boggle my mind that the tech is out there to make a great, consumer-level 3D animation program, but nobody's doing it. There is a serious gap in the market here. Imagine what could be done with Muvizu or Moviestorm today if t...

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

Well, Inva3D is finally for sale, but the first (and so far only) review is awful. (The person seems to have barely used the program, but they say the performance is terrible and the screenshots were misleading.) It's an $80 program, so I'll definitely wait to see some more reviews before I buy. It'...

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

OK, so I guess my remaining question would be, if Meshmellow shuts down at some point, will Muvizu continue to work? I'm not sure how much the program relies on Meshmellow's servers, and if it can function independently.

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

Ikes, Inva3d looks fantastic and I'm really intrigued by it... although it makes me a little nervous that so little info is available about it or Filmengine. I looked for video tutorials about either program, and I couldn't find anything. I also wonder about the actual characters. All the video and ...

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

I have it installed on my previous PC. I think I installed it in 2016-ish. That PC is barely functioning and my current PC is a refurb, just about at the end of its life, so I'm planning to get a replacement before long. I'd probably wait to install Muvizu on my next PC, if that's even an option. I'...

Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

I bought Muvizu a few years ago, back when Digimania was still running, and I had big plans for the program. I was going to use it to make movies, comics, all sorts of stuff. I hadn't gotten too far when Digimania promptly went under. I reluctantly gave up on Muvizu, thinking I could find some other...
