Better Legacy Version?

Post by RDVallier »

So happy to see this site!
For those of us without a Muvizu Play license, Anizu provides a link for Muvizu "legacy" version 11-17-2015.
You might want to try legacy version 10-28-2013. It seems to be an even less restrictive "free" version.

For example ...
- All scenes are available. [2015 version blocks "Hero & Villain Lairs," "Lighting," "Prison," "Trainyard."]
- All characters are available. [2015 version blocks "Beefy," "Heroine," "Mandy," "Rosie," "Sinister."]
- All objects are available. [2015 version blocks a number of "objects."]
- Video output 720p is available. [2015 version's highest vertical resolution is 576p.]
- Of all the wonderful "Sets" available for download under Anizu assets, I was able to import/open
69 sets into the 2013 version, but only 7 sets into the 2015 version.

If you want to try it, I've uploaded Muvizu 2013-10-28 to ShareByLink.
- Link should stay up for 60-days.

A couple of notes.
- Run as Administrator.
- Block Muvizu.exe in your Firewall by creating a new "outbound" rule.
Keeps Muvizu from endlessly trying to connect to the Muvizu server ... which no longer exists.
Muvizu.exe is in the Muvizu Play Binaries64 folder.
Mine is here ... "C:\Program Files\Muvizu Play\Binaries64\Muvizu.exe"

Thank you for this! I hadn't realised that so much was still blocked on that older version. According to the official changelog it's just before they switched to a new type of licencing.
I'll replace the 2015 link with one for the 2013 version.
(PS: Do you happen to have any installers for different versions?)

I used to have four or five Muvizu versions, both older and newer.
However, after comparing each one I only kept version 2013.10.28.
Sorry! I just hope I can still buy a license "someday" and use the
most current version. All I can do is "wait and see."
