Muvizu news

Post by Doc »

I was looking around for clues of Muvizu today and it seems the muvizu.com domain has been taken over by a Chinese company - perhaps the new owners of Muvizu?

This translates to:
The site is temporarily unavailable
Dear users, hello
Sorry, the site is temporarily unavailable and may be caused by the following reasons:
Reason one: not filed or not access; according to "non-operating Internet information services for record management approach", the site needs to complete the record or access.
Reason two: the content of the site and the record information does not match or record information is not accurate; According to the "non-operating Internet information services for the record management approach", the site content and the need to record the same information, and the record information to be true and effective. It is recommended that webmasters modify the site information as soon as possible.
Record the management platform Click here to enter the cloud server to enjoy 30 yuan / month ultra-low prices
And this is the English version of the site:

The link takes you to this site https://www.alibabacloud.com/help/faq-detail/42457.htm which seem to be the host of the domain at the moment?

The two links on the chinese version take you to https://beian.aliyun.com/ and https://promotion.aliyun.com/ntms/act/q ... 4.1.Ugo6ac which similarly seem to take you to information about the web host.

So overall, not many clues but progress does seem to be being made.

Keeping fingers crossed. Unfortunately we don't know if someone actually bought the software or want to use muvizu.com for some unrelated reason. Was the website included in the deal for Muvizu, etc.?

Here's what I know...

The IP for all Digimania's software has finally been purchased. The new owners have previously stated that they intend to continue selling Muvizu.

I've spoken to them this week about several technical issues they're having, getting access to the website's control panel, restoring the accounts database, and the licensing system.

They've said they hope to retain the existing licensing system and assuming they can restore the database correctly, existing Muvizu licenses should work again. This means existing users would be able to activate once again, and new users can buy licenses.

This is early days, and they have many technical hurdles. But at long last, the administrators seem to be getting out of the way and allowing some progress to be made.

Thanks for everyone's patience and understanding with everything that's happened so far. There's light at the end of the tunnel.
Former Muvizu developer, please don't blame me!

http://www.muvizu.com/ seems to be in testing at the moment. The site is going online for a few minutes at a time which suggests they are in the final stages of testing before the site goes live.

http://www.muvizu.cn/index.html (The Chinese site) is also live and has been for a while, but certain sections of that site are missing.
