Advice?

Post by Nello Ferrara » Wed Aug 30, 2017 8:52 pm

Hi All,

in the link below you can see a test for the Integration of Muvizu with a 2d background...

The Image is taken from a Set of Plotagon Studio; I have used it as a Backdrop in Muvizu, just for setting character movement and camera; then I have filmed it in Green Screen.

Then, I have edited it in After Effects, with 3 layer: the background; the character; a TIFF with Alpha Channel for the plant.

Do you have any advice?

That looks excellent so far!
I would look out for angles and shadows. You seem to have got the angle almost perfect, but the shadows looks unusual especially when he walks past the window and his shadow still shows as if he were lit from above.

Nice test. With layers you don't need green screen technique, because the layer is already transparent.
I also get the impression that he gets smaller as he walks to the front, maybe you need to adjust the camera field of view.
