What does fullversion of Muviza offer

Post by Slayer197 »

Hey community,
maybe you can help with the decision of a purchase.

I have three question, before i want to buy the online code via amazon.

1. Is amazon the only way to purchase?

2. What i get in the fullversion (the only information i got is that)

3. I saw in a youtube video, that it is possible to upload worlds/objects/animations and more. And that you can download these from community. Is this still posibile? Or have I recognized it correctly, that your community (http://anizu.uk/anizuAssets) is the only last way to share some things?

Many thanks in advance for your support! Many thanks for this great community!

All the best,
Tim :)

Welcome to Anizu, Tim!

I'm sorry, but I would not recommend buying that key on Amazon. The company behind Muvizu went into administration, and a new company appears to be in the process of buying the rights to the software. Due to this, there is currently no official way to upgrade your copy of Muvizu.
Copies of Muvizu which have already been activated only remain activated due to a file which is unique to each computer. If you buy a licence key on Amazon (or anywhere) you won't be able to use it because the licence server which checks it is offline.

Currently your best option is to download and install this free older version: http://www.anizu.uk/muvizu-downloads/Mu ... 1R_x64.exe
This has the majority of the features of the paid version, apart from some packs, watermark free rendering, and 1080p output.

To answer your third question: Due to the company going into administration, the official website is offline, so the features you saw in that video are no longer available. However, we've tried to replicate the majority of that content here so you probably won't miss out on much.

Assets
As you've seen, you can download new assets here: http://anizu.uk/anizuAssets
You can upload your own assets to that page by going here: http://anizu.uk/uploadAsset
And all of the free assets which could be found in the Muvizu store can be found here: http://anizu.uk/assets (but unfortunately we couldn't recover the thumbnails)

Animations
User-created animations can be found here: http://anizu.uk/gallery
You can add your own here: http://anizu.uk/addVideo (upload the video to YouTube and then post the link there)

Help with using Muvizu
The vast majority of Muvizu tutorials can be found on this page: http://anizu.uk/help (click the categories at the top to see what's available)
There's an official instruction manual here: http://anizu.uk/muvizu-downloads/muvizu ... ons-v2.pdf
And there is an archive of the old Muvizu Wiki here: http://anizu.uk/wiki (which answers most common questions)

Many thanks for the information Doc,

a animation video with watermark logo and in a quality of 720p is no way for me.

Is there a second option?
How was/is the licence agreement of Muviza?
Is it allowed to share a licence between 2 users?
So can I purchase the "licence" from another user (or give him the half)
so I could grab a backup of his Muviza folder to use the fullversion ?

And when not, have I a chance to find a third option in the world wide web? ;)

All the best.

In theory you could use someone else's licence, but you would need to do more than just copy their files, and this process could be a potential security threat for the original licence owner. Unfortunately I'd rather not discuss that here due to the legalities of it. There's no legal way to do so at the moment. I would suggest you wait a few months and see if the new company begins selling the software again.

That's a pitty,
but thanks, I will waiting for the new company.

I also do not prefer the third possible option,
but sometimes companies force the fans to do someting, when a way to licening and purchasing the prodcut is not given. I understand users which are doing this.

I will have an look on news about that great software and this forum,
thanks again.

Best regards.

Thanks for the link to the newest free version. This looks better then my older version. I will try =D
the only realy bad thing is the 720p limitation, haha so I have to re-render/re-edit in other software, no problem.

Edit: I was able to load my old project with out issues, and how I see the newest free version have a lot of more features and display modifiactions. Great. :)

That version's actually 4 years old now! After that point, Digimania decided to start removing features to encourage people to buy the Play+ licence.
You may find some of the assets hosted on this site won't work in your version, but apparently quite a lot of them do.
