.png to .ase?

Is there anyway to take a .png image and convert it to a .ase or to ad it as an object in muvizu to be moved around and placed where i want it?

No easy way. Png and ASE formats belong to diferent worlds. Png is a format for pictures (2d pictures). Ase format is for 3d models.

Why would you want that? Can't you just import the png to a backdrop? Then you can move it around.
