Watched all the videos went through all the blogs and forums.
I am still stumped: nothing works.
Is there an ffmpeg command
Importing Video
Re: Importing Video
Importing video into Muvizu? Muvizu accepts GIF and AVI video for any textures which allow images. (Yes they're very old formats but Muvizu is built on old software)

Re: Importing Video
MPEG-4 AVI works best, keep the file size low as you can, 25 fps or less works well.
Re: Importing Video
Could not get .gif to work. Only .avi I could get to work was uncompressed = HUGE file
MPEG-4 AVI? How?
Thanks guys!

Re: Importing Video
Use a video converter program. I use Xilisoft's, which is good, but there are lots of free ones out there. Animated GIFs aren't actually video files really, so no surprise they won't load.
Re: Importing Video
I think I tried that program and it was a fail.
What is an
MPEG-4 AVI
Specs?
update: Found forum of u Ziggy explaining it lol: AVI with XVid encoder?

Re: Importing Video
All video files are created with a specific codec, and MPEG-4 is just one option you could use. If Xvid can export it, then that should work okay. It pays to experiment
Re: Importing Video
Okay, I will give it a shot! TY!

Re: Importing Video
Just adding to Ziggy's advice:
-----------------------------------
For me, imported video looks "normal" if
I choose DirectX 9 in Muvizu preferences.
Selecting DirectX 11 causes the video to
appear washed out. Lacks contrast.
The latest Xvid codec is here:
https://www.xvid.com/download/
Download and install.
To convert MP4 to AVI, I use XMedia Recode
[which is free] and I can specifically pick
the XVid codec under video tab.

Re: Importing Video
That's why that happened? Been wondering about that one for years! I think you turn off layers or something if you use DX9 though, which is why I never leave DX11. Thanks for letting us know, Dave.DaveVallier wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 12:38 pmJust adding to Ziggy's advice:
