Importing Sketchup .ase

When I import .ase after exporting from Sketchup (8 & 2017) with and without collision / all combos of texture i.d. / single double sided...

They all come out chewed up. : Kinda soggy and dull.

Someone showed me a trick about moving edges, but it got lost in the MZ black hole. :idea:

Can you post a picture of what you mean? Hard to help when all we've got to go on is that the edges are wrong somehow.

YES that's exactly it. I was lookin' all over for that page! Thank you! Now, to study it...I'll prolly have questions, as I didn't understand exactly what to do last time I read it. Ziggy: Fazzing lol. U guyz rock!

Yes, you need to offset the edges a bit or the shadows go wonky on sketchup models that haven't been properly UV mapped. I guess 'soggy' was fairly accurate though :)

Thanks Ziggy and Doc and everyone! Finally figured out what the offset tool did! Worked! THANK YOU!:)
