Issues with Lip Syncing

Post by timcadieux »

So i just spent about 3 hours mucking with this.

I AM able to import some .wav file and get the character to lip sync once. However, anytime i add a second sound file for same character, only the most recent file will lip sync. If I delete the previous file that was working, and reinsert it and get it working again, the next one stops working. The audio still plays but there's no lip sync.

I'm using the free version from this website.

Muvizu only allows you to choose one audio track per character by design. Glad you found the solution. :)

I had no idea of that limitation but that tutorial did the trick.

I did not know either. Is there a link to the tutorial?
I imagine you could make a copy of the character and use the second audio with that?

The link is below, the takeaway is each character can only have 1 audio file for the lip syncing to work. In order to do this you need to have all the audio in the one field, including the appropriate spaces for dialog from others.

It's made very clear in the tutorial.
