The ovious way is to do as you have done and make a replacement head. It certainly looks like a bug. All it seems to need are some wings attached to the back. What are you not happy about?

I just found a bust in Silo, exported it as an fbx, and attached it to the nose. All of the facial features have sockets for attachment (except the lips). You get a sack truck, attach it to one of the hands of your character, and adjust it to the correct size location and angle with your character in the object action - it might take some fiddling around. I have posted a couple of sack truck models in 'Geoffs Assets'

We are only a forum for users of muvizu. The previous developers been bought out by a company in China called Meshmellow. Sorry, but I am afraid you will have to address your questions about purchasing and licensing to them. We can only follow what they put out in the muvizu site.
