This is all great. I got it working.
We have kids making a little 'Inside out' type of movie on Mental health for younger kids.
It's going so well now.

Can anyone help with an AVI file on the TV object? I imported the avi onto the plasma tv object and it seems grand. but it stops playing if i edit something else and it won't render in muvizu as playing either. It renders as a still frame from the avi movie on the tv.I don't know where i'm going wro...

I got it working, just needed to allow for other apps to access the Oculus software.

Has anyone tried the Oculus rift with Muvizu.
If so what was your experience like?

I tried to connect the Oculus rift, which I got a loan of, but got an error connecting to muvizu. The rift was connected first.
